Accessibility Statement

I want this website to work well for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. Here is what that means in practice.

What this site does

  • Text colors are chosen to meet standard contrast guidelines.
  • Every photo carries a written description for screen readers.
  • The site can be navigated by keyboard alone, without a mouse.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations quiet down automatically.
  • Pages are built with clear headings and landmarks so assistive tools can find their way around.

An ongoing effort

Accessibility isn't a one-time project. As the site grows, I review new pages and features with these same goals in mind, guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

If something isn't working for you

If you run into a barrier on this site — something you can't read, reach, or use — I genuinely want to know. Email me at poppypotter@sparkpotential.org and tell me what happened. I'll do my best to fix it and to get you the information another way in the meantime.
